Thank you for your thoughts on hierarchy i leadership. I belive this is a key profetic word to YWAM for this season wher it is a move toward kingdom of God lifestyle and work in all spheres of socuety. But I also see this could be a challang. Mybe you could unpack a few areas like: 1. How to handle the overhead of getting a base runing when we lack peope in kitchen, maintenance and hospitality?
    2. Some visions are big an need a lot of people to work, how to handle a big visjon that some of the leaders of a base carry but feels like a burden to others?
    3. What is the benefits of moving away from hierarchy in operational leadership.
    4. How to could this flatt structures leadership be implemented in business?

Thank you so much for this blog Lynn, my questions is what about Moses and his leadership. Was that just for that time and not for now? He was definitely the big leader and people followed. And then you had his father in law that helped him with restructure that helped Moses to still be the big leader. What do you think?

Thank you so much for your highly appreciated sharings dear Lynn.
One of our team leadership member spoke to us last week about a very insightful book she read : reinventing ogranistaions! Not knowing that you spoke about it too. So I read it this weekend and it put into words many intuitive thoughts and practicies we have been trying to work with. It raises some questions too of course. One of the main one for me being : ” What is the Lord speaking to us through this book? And what and how can we further try to implement new ways of leading/doing things that will help us as a mission to enter into the 3..0 season? Would it be useful? Interesting? Needed to have a conversation with people interested?

    • You are welcome! Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, I do think this is part of how God is speaking to us. It goes back to 2010 when Loren had the word from the Lord about Circles, Cycles and Circuits. The concept of local organisations working in teams with clear vision and values and a well-understood process of seeking advice, provides us with some practical ways to make circles work locally. That has certainly been needed. If we can make work, then we will see people, especially younger people, taking initiative on the Word of the Lord to do “new ministries and new methods”, as our values state.

Thank you for your answer Lynn. I think that we are interested with our local team to work intentionally on it. We are dedicating one day next week to decide if, and how would we start. It seems that the timing would be approriate as we are in a transition time with younger leaders emerging. I’m looking forward to it. We will surely learn a lot. Thank you for the opportunity you are giving us to process that with you through your videos.
