These are tough subjects Lynn, but I appreciate your tackling them. When it comes to Christians getting involved in politics or in society in general, I believe we must be involved in every sphere of society as the ekklesia, the “called out ones.” Much of the mess we see in the US, at least is from the lack of involvement of the Body of Christ. I commend Eric Metaxas’ most recent book, Letter to the American Church (a relatively quick read compared to his biographical tomes) not only for Americans but for any believers to gain understanding of the consequences of a silent and/or uninvolved church. Lives depend on it.
