
Thanks for this. Much to mull over. One of my last thoughts, because near the end of your talk, was about my reading, just yesterday, about the paralytic who was lowered thru the roof b/c of the crowd around Jesus. And the word says that Jesus, seeing the faith of the friends… So, as you mentioned, sometime people who seem to have no faith are healed. What that says to me, other than to keep on praying, is that there is much that we don’t know, about God’s will & purposes, especially God’s will for others. [Challenging enough sometimes to know what He want’s for us, much less others.] One of the things I like about Orthodoxy is the view that some things are matters of mystery & so not subject to exact definition.
