Wow. That was so good to listen to. Lynn, the picture that is running through my mind as I came to the end of watching is a remindee of Lorens vision of waves crashing over the continents. Except this time they are waves of cleansing sweeping across YWAM. I feel a bit odd sharing that as we are not actually part of YWAM these days but in.prayer I have had a sense for some time now that God is wanting to re energise YWAM. We will keep prayi g.
Lynn, Pauline and I were greatly impressed and blessed by this interview. Amazing how doors opened up for her with the Kurdish pastor and the growth in the team. Wonderful honesty. As you said, this is what YWAM is about. The lady we support in Northern Iraq also comes from a (British) orthodox Jewish family. She came to know the Lord, went to Israel and felt the Lord lead he into Northern Iraq(!) to work with Yazidi refugees. Amazingly the Iraqi official who arranged for an empty camp to be used turned out to be a cousin of hers even though his family had become Muslim many generations back. Isn’t that incredible?
ps Great to see you looking so animated during the interview -it was stirring up memories for you wasn’t it!
