  1. Great series Lynn. I especially appreciate your emphasis on the various expressions of prophecy and the importance of application. We in YWAM are founded on the belief that God speaks to all who yield their lives to him. We must continue to encourage, correct, and bless through the utterance of the Holy Spirit. Virtually all leaders in YWAM have been guided by Holy Spirit words that came through fellow believers. Loren himself is both an apostle and prophet, bringing corporate “legacy words” that he then works to apply. My struggle these days is with those who claim the office of a prophet but have no accountability when a word they give proves false. So many of their “prophecies” have been about political events like the 2020 election and the conflict in Israel. Instead of resonating in the hearts of true believers, these words have confused and frustrated many of them. — Scott T.
